Maybe I missed something along the way, but aren't there any opposing armies to play against or all they all just US soldiers in slightly different colours...

not a dumb question at all,ure right it is just soldiers in slightly different colours, did u get into it after?

any one else play this game?

I downloaded it.
Installed it.
Played it twice.
Removed it and went back to playing BF2

Why? I found it really just didn't have the gameplay of BF2 or Quake or anything else for that matter

i find those games a bit arcadey for me(quake anyway), aint played bf2 yet as my rig is a bit slow,lookin forward to playin it though as i have heard great things about bf2
