Can anyone recommend any good Battlefield 2 servers?

Every time I go to find a game I have to wait about 10 minutes for the list to update and most of the servers seem to be either full or have really bad pings

You could try our server. Its called "B2K Ranked Server".
The IP address is 85.236.101.10 and the port is 16668.
Give it a try. There are usually a good few of us on in the evenings.

What time is a good time to find people on there?

Generally it starts kickin into gear around seven or eight in the evenings.
But there might be a few on during the day also. Ill probably be on myself for a

The best evening to find lots of people in our server is Sunday.

I've been on there a few times over the last week, but I've also found a couple of more active servers

Try filtering the servers so it won't list the empty ones aswell. It should bring the list down to about 1200 servers. I've got a 2MB download and it takes about 10 secs to list. Even if I didn't filter them it would list all of them in under a minute.

It wasn't a matter of speed. More of connectivity.
