ntl woefull for gaming?

im on ntl and iv been gaming for the last couple of months online, solely on pro evo soccer 5, and unitll the last couple of weeks i had no real problems with lag, but now th thing has gone haywire, every game i play there is at least some lag, most of the time its unbearable.

basically when im hosting in the second half there is truck loads of lag, but absolutley none in the first? what the hell is going on. ntl say its because their broadband isn't ideal for gaming, hence all the lag. which is crap( they have it advertised o ntheir site that ntl is ideal for gaming online and have a huge banner on their site saying so!) cos there was no problem with it untill recently.

i also noticed when speaking to their tech team that i wasnt recieving my full meg download which i had subsribed to, i.e. 2meggs, upgraded to 3 aswell and the speed is still ****. iv been just toldthat im getting 1.5 and paying 3mb?!

and i game on the ps2, somebody help......

I use Ntl for gaming and have done for 2 and half years and never had any problems.If your hosting a game you need to have a decent upload speed.I dont think Ntl provide anything over 300kbps uploads.This speed isn't any good for hosting.Also lag can be cause by the distance between yourself and the others players.If he's local to you lag should be minimum if he's in the states or the likes, major lag fest.Also it could have something to do with the servers your playing on, Ps servers aren't all that good to start with, maybe your lag is down to that.Get an xbox,it'll be better
