I've just started to use this free piece of software from Microsoft. It's good for testing programs that you wouldn't want to chance putting on your real harddrive, before knowing the risks fully.

It's so easy to use it's unreal. It works just like a real PC, almost!

See, it's pretty well laid out and simplistic to set-up. The toughest part was finding floppy drive images for DOS 6.22 and Windows 3.11, and getting a Windows 95 boot disk (with DOS CD-ROM Drivers included), as I don't have a floppy drive installed in my PC. But hey, once I got going, it was a sure thing! I've even got the Windows 95 TCP/IP set-up to read off my router, and I can surf the net on it as normal (using Internet Explorer 5.5).
Please note that your host Operating System may not support Virtual PC.
