Unable to receive emails - Irish ISP Test - Broadband Forum

I have had my smtp server changed in outlook '07 for the past two months. I have had no problems reciving emails since then. But since monday morning I cannot receive emails. If I log on directly to the ericom web mail I can send and recive emails.

Any ideas

Are you using Eircom as your ISP?

No I was with eircom for dialup but went with bt broadband for the past two years. Seems all is okay this morning. I would be interested if you had any ideas on whta went on. Bt are saying nothing.

I suspect that it's the Eircom ACLs

If you aren't using Eircom as your ISP then you more or less lose access to your Eircom email - definitely you lose access to their SMTP, though I'm not 100% sure about pop3 (do they even offer imap?)
