Default Cant get Speed Test to Work

Hi,
I'm looking for some assistance as I'm probably doing something incorrectly. When I found the speed test site initially I had no problem in checking my speed. Possibly a coincidence, but after I ran some free registry cleaning software, I got nothing on the speed test site - a blank page. I assumed that I had to register at that stage as I had used up my unregistered go's. However, it's still the same - Nothing. It's probably something very simple that I'm either doing/not doing but would appreciate all assistance to run the speed check.
Thanks
M.Barrett

Hi blacknight

This issue has come up before and probably will occur again in the future.

I think it might not be a bad idea to put a notice on the speedtest page stating Java is required to run the test. You could also include a link to the Java download site.

Keep up the good work

Another reason for the speed test not working is if you have a download manager installed.Download managers download nearly all file types including bin
files so you would need to remove bin from the file options.

Hi, Thanks to all. I reinstalled Java and no problems - the speed test reappeared.
