Yup. And then some.
When the politicians came to your door a few weeks back, did you ask about broadband? If you did, then did your neighbours? It's a matter of scale, really. While the gov't can pretend nobody's really interested; they do not have to solve the problem.
Look at mental healthcare: My son was diagnosed with Autism a year ago, and even though there is a LOT of funding earmarked specifically, we're still funding his education ourselves as our candidates "do not meet their requirements". Well, sure they don't: what Princeton Graduate with multiple psych degree's will take €27 an hour (yes, Princeton is one of the main uni's they only accept)? And yet, a certain TD was not fired over the increasingly appalling state of the mental health of our youth, but praised..
Long story short, it ain't gonna get fixed with the current parties in control. Nor will it with the next. Politicians have no inclination to get the problems solved - it's too much hassle.
