Default Advice on Dialup+Broadband provider

Hi All,

So far not much luck in pushing wireless into Kilworth - those that are keen are awaiting location for equipment, those that have equipment keep changing their tune as to what they need to do the final push.
However! Eircom are now claiming 3-6 months before upgrading the exchange; although this is no guarantee for me (line may be unsuitable) there is still some shady light at the end of the tunnel.

I'd like some advice if anyone has the time though.

Due to work, I need some kind of internet access at home while waiting for broadband to become available. On average I would guestimate that my household spends around 170 to 200 hours online (on broadband currently, will lose this when I move). Typically this includes email / vpn / games / etc.

Can anyone suggest an ISP that I can sign up for dialup and eventually migrate to full BB when the time comes (or someone with month-by-month service with decent flatrate rates)? And is there any reason to avoid certain providers over others?
