Default Which is the best and why?

I am thinking of getting broadband, I want to know which is the best company to go with and why.

Well here would be my prefs:

1. NTL (if available): Pretty good connection speeds, low contention, low pings and pretty reliable. Packages from €25 for 1Mb.
2. Smart Telecom (if available): €35 for 2Mb broadband AND line rental.
3. BT Ireland: Use eircom bitsream products but are fairly good, and do some pretty good value packages.

Take a look at www.getbroadband.ie You can see all the broadband providers available in your area with prices.
