Default Citywest Speed Test

Hey Guys,

I'm living in Citywest at the moment and I have the Breeze 2MB but only get around 400 Kbps on average, does anyone else get better speed?

I'm thinking of ditching IBB for rip off eircom!

Bookdent.

Default well worth it

I have had Magnet installed now for 2 months, I just gave up on the IBB crowd of jokers and changed provider.

I have had a brilliant service form Magnet, Rang them and they answerd on the third ring!!!. I did not get put on hold or any fogged off crap, I got help. The modem supplied is a wirless router as well, and I even have Braodband in my PSP.
So far the service has NEVER dropped below 1.5 mbps and is usually just over 2mbps. To cap it all, I have a 25 gig cap, and I even recieve a call from Customer support asking me if I have enough cables etc.

No that is what its all about.

Magnet

Thank you

IBB

F*** you

hello...anyone knows ISP thats offers wireless connection without phone line in Cork City...i was checking DigiWeb,BT,Magnet and few else...but there're all with phone line service only..."god damn" Irish Broadband lookin' to be the one that doesn't require phone line...
...i hope that Irish Broadband policy:
"Get a new customers...forget about the existing" won't last long...
specially when there is so many complains and even technical newspapers turned their attention to IB

bookdent! you post your query in the wrong link i.e. Irish ISP Test - How Fast Is Your Connection? > Irish ISPs > IBB > Citywest Speed Test

Post it in Irish ISP Test - How Fast Is Your Connection? > Irish ISPs where it belongs. The current thread is about Irish Broadband not about Citywest. You posted your query here out of ignorance so DON'T be rude about my posting here!

PS The expression you used "chin chat" should be "chitchat" so think before you post

Listen Vinnie,

This is the Irish Broadband forum, right?!

And my topic is referring to IBB (Irish Broadband) connections speeds in the Citywest area!!

So my topic is in the right forum!

Now, maybe you need help understanding the question posed, so I'll brake it down for you in lay mans terms:

I have Breeze 2MB from Irish Broadband in the Citywest area, I am averaging around 400kbps. Can any one in the Citywest area tell me what their connections speed average at?
