Default NTR / IBB In Derry area

Anybody else having a crap service?
I am getting ping loss of between 8% and 30% since November and the whole service and customer service sucks especially at £30 monthly.
Check these ...

I have made no less than 8 calls to Tech support and still no engineer.

What yees think? Anybody getting a good service in Derry?

Thumbs down

I'm in Strabane and getting a useless service that I don't really understand yet. If I download from Heanet I do get full speeds, 120k. But sometimes it takes 30 secs to load google.ie !!!! Their dns servers are crap!!! It should be instant to resolve an ip address. I would love to change over but I have no landline. Remember that NTR means National Toll Roads, they have been screwing Dubliners for years, causing traffic jams on the M50. Now they are causing traffic jams on broadband. Hope they don't take over the hospitals!!!

I got a new type antenna and internal box thing fitted about a month ago and the service is much better but still not as good as a 512k DSL service.
