Default Ping issue

I am having major problems with my connection since November, see other thread http://www.irishisptest.com/forum/t3...erry-area.html

Tech Support tell me that the problem is at my end and will have an engineer check it out.

However if I send say 100 pings to the gateway 62.231.36.17 I never ever get any loss and an average of about 18ms

If I send 100 pings to anywhere else I get between 5% and 25% loss always.

From these results it seems like a problem on their side?

Right now my speed is 22kbps and I am getting really pissed with it.

Any suggestions out there?

I got a new type antenna and internal box thing fitted about a month ago and the service is much better but still not as good as a 512k DSL service.
