Angry its just sooo wrong.

the gits told me i was well within the ratio (48:1) which basically means they can claim speeds of 1mb/s without havin to mention 48 people share each 1mb/s connection. they should be made advertise 25-30kb/s.. and guess what, the dept. of consumer affairs will do NOTHING. i asked. they told me what i already know, i can leave IBB and revoke payments. the customer service guy put me up to 2mb/s for the weekend for a test, speeds average 40-60kb/s. i dont see how they can get away with something so blatantly wrong..

read the terms on your contract before you buy things.

Is the contention ratio mentioned in the literature?
Is it mentioned in the contract?

yeah cuz ****in everyone is mister *draws glasses and reads fine-print*, do you work for them? are you secretly their CEO sitting at your desk laughing heartily at us poor fools who rely on honest people on a site dedicated to helping IBB customers? or are you just negative and enjoy annoying others who clearly aren't as *hick voice* "school smart" as you? oh and by the way, the terms are issued by paper AFTER you buy it, why would i be buying broadband if i already had access to the net to which you have a link to their terms??

Are you sure? If you're able to get Eircom DSL then you should be able to also get any of the other bitstream providers (BT, UTV, DigWeb etc.)
