Default why are they so crap?

my ibb breeze imb conection has been just about ok since i got it until a few weeks ago my connection kept dropping, speeds have gone to the dogs and so have my pings to game servers, i used to be able to play counter strike source when ever i wanted with boderline pings now i can't even get on to a server because they are all over 200ms, servers auto-kick you at 150ms usually, if you can even play at 150ms. the dropping conection lasted a few days but seems to have sorted its self out or at least by the time the tech suport guy rang me it was ok, now they won't answer my emails, they just open a trouble ticket and leave it at that. the only other alternative in my area will be digi web soon, with the same wireless sort of crack, would it be worth changing when they are available, or will i get the same problems, bad pings and bad download speeds, or should i hang on till my exchange is enabled?

Is it possible to find out how many other people are on your mast? I'd presume the techy guys could figure that out and see if a few users were hammering your link (if the techy guys are level one earning peanuts though then you're in trouble). When I was joining up they told me that they didn't care how much I was downloading but if I was affecting other users they'd prioritise other ports for the other users. I thought that was fair enough.

If they can't figure it out I'd move to another provider. I know you've got a contract with them but if you've got problems and they can't fix them it's them breaking the contract (I'm not a lawyer though so get more advice on that before you do anything). This thread would be relevant to you so. The Ibb Contract

this dosn't help me find out why they are so crap. my speed has gone to the dogs and i can't play games online anymore i might as well have dial up. and their tech suport is so slow i'd read the manual and fix the problem my self in half the time they would. i mean pings on a fixed wireless system should be better than those on dsl in theory. not sure about the physics but don't radio waves travel faster than electricty?
