Default IBB chasing me for unpaid bills... That I won't pay.

Got an IBB connection back in 2005 (march) and had the whole thing canceled
as by September/October of that year the service went into crap mode / worse than dial-up.
I rang them several times, sent emails etc etc and was told that they would not be seeking to recover the sums involved; We're now end of 2006 and they're still sending me letters. God almighty will they ever drop the case?@!!
Friend of mine had his contract canceled at the same time for the same product (3Mb), he was told that they knew exactly that their service got very bad and were expecting a major upgrade by January 2005.
I wish I could go to small claims court or something like that...
Dunnow. Anybody out there with the same issues?

only too right.i have recently been at loggerheads with eircom over a mobile phone purchased.long story.anyway get in touch with the consumers rights
no. in book. they are very helpful, and will steer u in the right direction to resolve the problem.the small claims court offices are in temple bar and are also veryhelpful and understanding.we take too much crap from these companies and these guys are our only backup
