Default Traffic Shaping/Port limiting

Have Irishbroadband introduced traffic shaping/port limiting? I have noticed a severe limit being put on traffic on my 2mbit connection. Webpages etc at full speed. But try do something on a none standard port then it limits to 5k. Msn remote assistance impossible to use. also seems that bit-torrent is blocked too. Looks like its time to change providers if they have implemented this and lied on their website that they DO NOT traffic shape or port limit!!!

Well they put me on a new high site and gave me a new radio. So am unsure as to whether it was the high site or my radio that was at fault. Now my connection running perfect since with zero issues. Thank god
