Angry Lag Spikes

Hello - I was wondering if anyone else using IBB experiences this:
Basically I have a good ping - except every 3 or 4 minutes when it shoots off the charts

Packets: Sent = 36, Received = 36, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 151ms, Maximum = 783ms, Average = 178ms
Its started about 2 weeks ago - and its really killing my online gaming - Im scared to call tech support because the ping is mostly normal - except every few minutes where it shoots up for about 2 seconds and then goes to normal.

Its not just one server either, happens when I ping anything - Ive checked my system no virus/s spyware or anything running in the background.

Cheers

Yeah, I've been getting same, and also hurting on-line gaming. Who's your ISP? Digiweb is my crowd and up until recently have had no issues with ping. But now can reach 400 on occasion!

I've been having the same problem. Have a look at the following thread for more details about my experience with this problem and IBB's responses:
