Default How can IBB get away with their worst service?

I had IBB for over a year! I was supposed to receive 2Mbs speed as that was what I was paying for. I Had never got even half of that speed. Sometimes they would disconnect without even knowing they did. Same story in my workplace, we were ringing them everyday to check their line. You email them, and your email goes straight to the recycling bin. You phone them, and there you stay! 30 to 50 minutes until you get through to someone who can`t help you ! A lot of people have moved from them to other providers. But you know what`s funny about all this? IBB, knowing that they are the worst providers in Europe, maybe in the world, still chases people who refused to pay for their crap service by threatning them with legal action :-))
So the question? How can IBB get away with all this???

Default Me to

I was with IBB for about 6 months , and in the end I just lost my patience with them. I have mentioned this several times before on theses forums, and I will say it again.

They are in breech of contract with you,

I just canceled my payments and told them that if they tried to pressure me I would take legal action for the breach of contract.
I also told them to get that piece of rubbish Ariel and about 30 meters of "wireless" crap out of my house, or I would.

Never heard a word from them again.

Got Irish Broadband installed two weeks ago, live in the countryside

and was delighted when a provider finally became available in my area,

signed up for a 3MB line, €48.50 per month,

what a f**king joke.

Have ran the BlackNight speed test a number of times,

upload and download both ranging from around 500 - 1000kbps.

Almost 50 quid a month, and i'm pulling my hair out half the time.

So bad I even thought it might be my machine's fault, but it wasn't.

Default IBB: Joke

I signed up with Irish Broadband in December and have had terrible trouble with them. Over Christmas, the signal degraded without any explanation. I could not get online at all and had to go back to dialup. I emailed them to complain and they took over a week to reply each time. I cc'ed their Cork sales office and that did not help either.

This week after many nasty emails from me they took back the modem and emailed me to say "The ticket has been raised for a refund. We will contact you as soon as we receive a reply from Customer Service Manager regarding this matter."

Given their previous record of tardy replies, I wonder when I will hear back...

Hi Guys first post on this forum,
I have been with IIB on a 2mb breeze account for the past 2 years and guess what I haven't had a ounce of trouble with them. Just this Chrimbo they have upgraded me to 3mb account for free. As for the ripwave it's a waste of space, u want cheap broadband u get cheap broadband. Thanks IIB for ur continued and reliable service

i had ibb's rip wave for juys about 3 months & suddenly it didn't work,we thought it might be the box so they sent us a new one but lo & behold that didn't work either...

then they said that the satellite nearby (marley park at the time) was nit in service anymore and the nearest one (the coachhouse) was slightly too far for me to connect to.

They even had the cheek to charge me for the month when they were trying to fix the service.

utter joke of a company!

I've been with IBB for a couple of years now, out in the wilds....

I have had a few issues with them in the past, but have no complaints now

Note that for some strange reason, I get better results in the above test to London, than I do to Dublin

So do I. Probably Dublin's server doesn't have a good peer with IBB.
