Default airwire broadband

Hi, I'm new to this forum and just want to say hello to all. I've joined this forum hoping to find help in coping with my broadband connection. Although my broadband has improved lately, i still can't listen to the radio without interruption or enjoy music on youtube as it constantly stalls. It is so annoying. Just wondering does anyone else have these problems. latest qos is rated at 24%. not very good. I'm supposed to have a 2 meg broadband. haven't seen it yet though . We have contacted airwire but, no joy. Have more or less been told, they have everything right their end and the problem lies with us. I am using XP with a 3g ram,a fairly new computer.
latest test result 885kbps download.

885Kbps is an ok download speed if you were paying for 1 meg broadband but not for 2 meg....sounds like a contention problem where they have too many users tryin to share the same bandwidth.. I was with airwire and had the same problem, i was on 1.5 meg download but was comparable to dial up most of the time, i changed to lighthouse networks 1meg connection and get 1meg up and down constantly.... highly reccomended by me. I have used eircom dial up 3 meg but that isnt even as good as my new connection from lighthouse... give them a call and see if theyre available in your area...i'm also in galway..
