Default Hi All

Found site by accident while looking for a 'Speed Test'. Looks interesting so I will be visiting regularly.

Hi Mike and welcome mate. I'm also new to the forums, but not so new to the speedtest.

Best regards...

Throw another log on the fire there Mick as it's a bit nippy today with all that snow floating around mate

Having a relaxed atmosphere in any forums is a great thing in all honesty Mick, but you still have to know where the line is in the more serious discussions around the various sections of the forums.

Being 'up north' I wasn't too aware of what was on offer to the rest of Ireland, but a quick flick around these boards soon shows that ADSL & Cable seems to be growing in terms of both speeds and choice of provider just nicely. Hopefully coverage will spread as it has up here and prices will drop also.

Regards...
Tom

Hi to all new members

Tom if you have a look at the IBB thread, you will realise that most of us need a sense of humour to deal with that co.

I feel for you IBB guys sometimes. The rest of us have our troubles but you guys seem to be coming off the worst.

After looking through the IBB section, it seems that they are the Tiscali of the Irish BB market

Hopefully they will get a swift kick up the rear to get their ideas bucked up asap.

Question Let's keep it clean

Hi blacknight

How's about keeping this stuff off our site. I logon here for some sensible chat regarding the BB scene in Ireland, to perhaps help out on problems or get help myself with my BB connection.

I'm no prude, people are free to look at this stuff if they want to, but there are plenty of other sites where they could do that.

If you spot that kind of junk in the future would you please use the report post function as it will alert several of our staff so that the post(s) can be removed quickly and the user banned permanently
Thanks

Michele

Hi blacknight

Thanks for the quick action on that post.

Despite looking everywhere I could think of I can't find the report post function, I must be having a bad hair day.

Could you please show us where it is.
