Default Hello all

Hello people.

May name is David (I prefer Dave). I'm 31. I work in a net caf in Cork. Another member here (Spud) introduced me to this site and even though I only signed up recently I'm lovin it here. Pity there isn't more on here as regard hardware but anyway. Spud and I have our own BF2 server (found at Welcome to IrishBf2.net) and we're having a blast with it. I love to watch formula one (havn't missed a race in years), the mighty Liverpool FC and listen to my music. Typically hip-hop. I love PC building and online gaming. I'm the proud fater of my 5 month old daughter. She's great fun. I live with my girfriend for two years now and loving it.

That's all I can think of right now ......

Glad to be here.

Oh, I have Smart Broadband 4meg package

Hey mickomania. Thankfully I wasn't affected by what eircom did. How they can get away with doing this is beyond me. I got this from Smart the other day:
Quote:
Smart Telecom is pleased to announce the restoration of services to our Broadband customers.

Smart's Broadband customers should now have inbound and outbound voice services restored.

It has come to our attention that some of our broadband customers have lost access to our broadband services over the past two days. We aim to contact these customers directly in the coming days with a view to restoring our service as soon as possible.

We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely apologise to all our customers for any inconvenience caused during this difficult time and as a token of our appreciation for your continued support, we are increasing the speed of your existing broadband product by an additional 3Mbps to 6Mbps.

This upgrade will take place during the next 24 hours and will be available for the remainder of 2006.

We look forward to providing you with our exciting products for many years to come.

So I think that is good news.

Glad you enjoy our server. It's picking up nicely over the last few weeks. Quiet since the 2142 demo came out though. That's to be expected. Hope to see you on our server again soon
