Hello. I am based in Galway. I ran speedtest today and I had a Download speed of 2.61 Mbps and an Upload speed of 316 kbps.

I am on Eircom's service using their Netopia Wifi Router. All in all a good service - although I think the cost is high. I would have expected a decrease in cost as they claim to have increased Broadband usage from 100,000 to 300,000 in the last couple of years. Maybe the new management will bring our BB services into the 21st Century.

We will see.
