Hi All,

Just signed up with Digiweb about 2 weeks ago on their 3MB package for €42 Per Month.
No real dramas so far except for a short outage earlier this week.
Their tech support had a recorded message alerting users in the 021 phone area (Cork) that they were aware and actively working on this fault - apparently due to a problem with an Eircom exchange.
Was back up and running fairly quickly but with decreased download speed. Emailed them inquiring about this last night and they replied this morning, asking me to monitor my speeds (using this site!) and to pass on my results if no improvements came about in the coming day or two.
Can't say fairer than that....

What is the general feeling of any other Digiweb users regarding download speeds and/or customer support?

Hi JoDo

Welcome to the forum.

Digiweb in common with other isp's who resell the Eircon Bitstream product will suffer from eircon related technical difficulties from time to time. When it works it usually works well but when it doesn't it is hard to find out why and or if it will be fixed.

However, it looks like you are blessed with a TS that is clued in to their customer needs and has the courtesy to give a recorded message acknowledging problems with the network.

I'm with BT and the only thing you ever get from their recorded message is someone stating that they are very busy answering all our calls today and you have to hold on for ages and ages and ages......... before you finally give up none the wiser.
