Hello, Ladies and Gentleman..

Great forum lot's of helpful info..I'm a digiweb 3mb user..Delighted with there service, very consistent speed tests..One question, why are all the digiweb locked!!

i've the wireless metro 3mb service in ballinteer and its very poor.where are u located and is it dsl or wireless u have?

I'm living in Shannon and i have DSL..I've heard wireless can be troublesome so haved stayed clear..The only problem i have with Digiweb is there rolling traffic quota..But i have it under control now, thankfully!!

Yeah, the Shannon exchange doesn't seem to be over-subscribed, like some other DSL enabled exchanges throughout the country. I think Shannon has two exchanges too. One near the Town Center, by the old ESB store and I think there's also one by the Airport. I reckon you're connected to the red-brick one by the ESB building though.

Also, you're well right to steer clear of Wireless. It's too erratic. If your DSL speeds and response times are consistent and peaking maximum most of the time, then you're better off sticking with it.
