Hi everyone

Well I never thought I would see the day when I would register on a Broadband Forum Im pushing 50 and on a very fast learning curve with this stuff

I live in Ballymun and have been a Clearwire Customer for a number of months (I noticed the Clearwire Forum ). I have having terrible problems with broadband speed almost exclusively in the evening times. I will put a seperate post about it on the appropriate forum.

Anyway I just wanted to say hello. Im hoping to learn from you all but bear with me if Im a bit dumb at first

joan ur suffering d effects of "contention" it basically means dat ur sharing the speed u get wit others on the clearwire network and in the evenings more ppl go online so instead of maybe 2 ppl using their broadband connection u have to "contend" wit about 10 wher the connection can only support the quoted speed for about 5 ppl at a time....
