First post -Hello to everyone.

Hi to everyone at Irish ISP Test - Broadband Forum. I came across your community while searching for a test of broadband speed on google and found it simple to use.
The little I have seen here is very good and I hope to converse with you all on topics and issues discussed in the forum.
I am signed up for broadband with UTV and find them quite good. I had 1mb @ 6 gig download cap but ran over a few times so I signed a contract for the new 2mb 12 gig download package for the same €20.99. Eircom dragged their heels flicking the dil switch in the exchange to upgrade me to 2 mb but it seems to be done now . However it is faster but not very noticably faster ie. twice as fast.I am getting download speeds of 1.2 to1.4 mb which i suppose aint too bad.
