Default Magnet 3 meg

Im thinking of switching to magnet.I rang them up and they said the most I can get is a 3 meg connection.Whats the normal upload speed would anyone know? Also I want to be able to play xbox live on two 360 at the same time.It worked fine for my 6 meg ntl but just wondering if the 3 meg could handle it. Any information would be appreciated.

Default Not sure, I say it would

Im thinking of getting it meself, but it has to be good for live. I think these are the ones who offer contention free lines, so I would think it would be a good service. For the price there charging it would want to be. And after having Clearwire for nearly two years, anything would be better than what I said.

I also have a 4mb download which runs between 5 and 6 mb most of the time.
upload speed is nearly always at 1mb. some issues when i firsty signed up with speed and phone service but once sorted have never looked back. Has never dropped the line. would recommend. not sure about gaming though, I did have problems connecting a second computer to the wireless network, would advise to talk to them first.

Don't choose Magnet if you need the service every day. It took them 8 days to restore service despite daily pressure. Eircom who provide the line cannot check until requested by Magnet. It was 2(yes2) days before they went to the exchange and passed the call to Eircom who established by next morning that it wasn't a line fault. On a Friday Magnet confirmed a router fault but the client did not get a replacement until the following Tuesday!!!!
