After four months using their triple play package I have to admit that it's not always satisfactory...
The package is very pricy and you'd expect more:
-The TV connection freezes or is down at least once a week.
-You cannot access the settings of the router.
Having recently bought a Nintendo DS and wanting to play using the wi-fi
feature I found out that the manufacturer (2wire )
disabled customer access and the technical staff cannot either.
All I needed to do was to enter the DS
MAC address in the router so the WEP key would be accepted. Nope.
Forget about port forwarding as well.
When you pay nearly 80 yoyo a month you would expect better flexibility.
Another bad point is network outage/blackout: no tv, no internet, no phone.
Hopefully it only happened once.
The good thing is the quality of their technical / phone support, they've always been helpful and quick to resolve issues.
And last is the channels you get... They said they will add more to the current line-up but so far we don't have More4, Film4, Channel 6, and Five. (and many more I guess )
