Default Nova and downloading

Customer of Nova for about 2 month's.First month great speed's on downloading 500kb's down,I was delighted as my dsl can only handle 3mb down.Any now all of a sudden my downloads get up to 500 then drop fast to a steady 300ish.Is this happening to anyone else or just me?Annoyed to be honest reason i joined was for faster speed's than 300.So if your like me and want faster speed's on torrent's and can only get 3mb on your dsl.Stay where you are Nova offer 5mb but limit download's at 300ish.Pity because they have great customer service

I have to say Im a customer of NOVA for 2 years now and i find them great.Excellent customer service(no call centre ques to deal with ) as you rightly point out. In relation to torrents i find the speed of downloads is heavily affected by the setup of ur torrent client coupled with the number of seeders / leechers on a particular download so it may not be your connection thats at fault. That said to improve torrent downloads you need to be enable port forwarding, something i believe you can only do with a dedicated IP address. I think Nova can give you 1 of these at a small fixed charge. Have you looked at that side of it. try portfowarding.com (I think) to see if you are correctly have PF enabled
