Ever since NTL ireland got sold to an irish company they've been getting worse and worse.
They decided to implement download caps and they enforce them by cutting you off. (they did that to me)
Customer support has been getting worse and worse. (they reconected me after they disconnected me but for some reason they forgot to tell me that they did so they kept on sending me bills. After a few hours on the phone they finally agreed to cancell my bills on the account that i wasn't using their service.)
And now the most annoying thing is that NTL uk (now renamed virgin) is upgrading their top service from 10 to 20 Mbits, and NTL ireland is staying comfortably at a lousy 6Mbits. At this rate ireland will have the worst internet in the developed world and ever third world coutries will probably have better
Anyone have any opinions on how much internet sucks here in Ireland?
