ntl hell

i been trying to get ntl broadband for the past 7 weeks, told im in coverage and each time there a problem connecting the router says it to do with tap on the roof has to be switched on , i had 4 technicians out to install broadband and all result in nothing accept wasting my time grrrrrrrrrrrrr and for customer service jeez do they know the meaning of the word and not a hint of compensation . should i keep waiting till they get there act together is there broadband that good, or have i had a lucy escape helllpppppp
