If your using Clearwire let me know what you think of it.
How are your numbers lookin?
Where abouts in the country are you getting it?
And of course whats the damage in the pocket?
Id like to compare with my own. It will give us a good
indication whether were gettin the best deal or not.
I just signed up to Clearwire two days ago and so-far-so-good. I'm told the speed will improve within a week. Currently at half of what I was expecting.
As for set up and installation. Just two days from the time I called them first to getting online. Brilliant compared to the other providers I spoke to. Hassle free but time will tell about realiabilityand speed.
Thats good. Its similar to my own story. Ive had the odd dip
in bandwidth but nothing too alarming. Id like to see the cost
come down a tad when the customer base increases. Cant see
it happening.Where abouts in the country are you getting it?

The cost, reasonable.
I agree.I phoned them up in the afternoon ,next day guy came instaled the modem and that was it,everything happened in less then 24 hours.
I live in Rathmines, south Dublin,on the ground floor.Speed has been constant ,just above 1MB.Very happy customer
I've just signed up to clearwire in Waterford, I had a mail drop rang them up and was connected the next day. their speed has been constant on the speed test on this at 2.22 Mb which is the speed they offer for the first 6 months. Its quite expensive and the only reason i signed up was i can't get eircom or ntl for at least 6 month (excuse, its a new apartment complex).
Cost - E29.95 for the first 6 months then rising to E39.95 for 1Mg (The 1st 6 months comes with 2Mb trial then the option to downgrade) with10Gb cap and E49.95 for 2Mb with 20Gb cap. There is also a 12 month contract and activation fee of E39. If you sign up for 24 months the activation fee is wavered.
ClearWire Prices
Offer for new Customers, E29.95/month for 6 months at 2Mb then either
E39.95/month at 1Mb with Download cap of 10Mb and Activation fee of E39 or
E49.95/month at 2Mb with Download cap of 20Mb and no activation fee
Ive been on to the boys at clearwire for the past two weeks because
some of my games dont work. They say they are working on it and
that its got something to do with games bringing out new patches.
I bought this for the first while but now Im not so sure. Im ringing again
tonight. Ill post what they say on the site here.
Im with them almost a year and up to now the customer support has been
pretty decent. I hope this isnt the end of it.
Yes I was wondering about P2P,but somehow one works one does not with me.I only download few songs here and there.
I have tried bittorent as well, downloaded the whole film, was just intrested if I could do that.
Service so far so good, live in Rathmines ,always above 1mb for 2 months now
Still no movement on the gaming issue I referred to in my last post.
Clearwire better get a move on or itll be the last theyll see of me.
I say that, but I did sign up to a 1 year contract. Ill think a bit harder
before I sign another one of those !
