Content ratio incidence on speeds?

What speed can I expect when there's lots of people connected at the same time
on a 2Mb package with a 24:1 ratio?
512 kbps?
256?
less?
Dial up?!

that all depends... i mean my experiance with IBB 3mb connection with 42:1 ratio was fair... when it worked it was full speeds 90% of the time.. when everyone started using it in the evenings it could go down maybe to 2.5mb instead of 3... so didn't really see much change... too bad their breeze is bad now...
