Default 02 7Mb service

Hi ,
I'm using a Clearwire 2Mb connection at the moment , living close to the centre of Dublin. Its ok i suppose , i can get a decent speed and usually the ping is reasonably low which means i can do some online gaming which is why i got the faster service , 1Mb just wont cut it. The contention is just about ok considering its 50 bones a month.
I've been thinking of a change as there would appear to be faster wireless services springing up .I dont have a phone line.
I see 02 have a 7Mb wireless service up and running for the same cost as Clearwire's 2Mb . Anyone from Dublin tried this ? ..., whereabouts.

I have been using O2 for 2 weeks for mobile laptop use. I am using it in the Dublin area, I think is worth trying, you have a 30 day trial. just get it try it and if you like it keep it. I get 5mb down and 1.5mb up.

Post 02 7mb connection

Is that with that Dongle thing and the sim card?
Friend of mine has the o2 sim usb thing and it's costing a fortune.
Not the 7mb but the 3mb I think.
If it's the sim/usb type broadband do any of the GAMERS have problems with ping or lag in games.
Myself, I'm wired with eircom 3Mb but experiencing Connection problems sine the upgrade and looking for a fast Reliable service that dosen't cost the eart and has good speed. Probably too much to ask from Irish Isp's.
Sucks when I hear about uk users getting 10/20mb for £10/20. Hek I'd pay that if I could get it instead of the outrageous 25 to 50 or 160 euro (If you want the 12mb business from eircom)

Short and long.. Gamer.. Need better broadband..Cheaper than eircom..Reliable... fast.. Did I mention Cheap?
