Steer clear. That's the one I had. The reviews on the Netgear forums say it all. People all over the world are in agony over this router. Connections dropping left, right and center.

I'm assuming you're getting this from PC World? If so, consider instead the Linksys WAG354G Wireless (can be called the WGKPC354G pack), which usually comes with a free Laptop PCMIA card. It's the business. It won't let you down.

PC World Ireland - PCs, Laptops, Monitors, Scanners, Printers, iPods and more!

LINKSYS Wireless Routers from PC World - Buy cheap LINKSYS routers including the LINKSYS WGKPC354G router.

Hi BluthBanana

I got a Linksys WAG354G, it is a combination DSL modem and wireless router. It also has 4 ethernet connections if you prefer to hardwire your PC and Xbox360.

However, you will get it much cheaper from Elara Online - Ireland Computers Online Laptops, Printers, LCD Monitors, Notebooks, Hard Disk, Memory, Camera, Motherboards, Routers and more. This is an Irish company based in Dublin, I ordered my WAG354G on Tuesday and had it in my hand first thing Thursday not bad service.

/me wonders if Elara would be a good shopping alternative to Komplett...

Thanks for the info, howfast. Glad to see you're still using your WAG354G.

EDIT: Can't seem to find it on Elara. Did a search for the WAG354G and the WGKPC354G-UK pack, which are the same product. Nothing.

Ah good one. Can't believe I missed it. However, the price stated there with VAT is €58.49. PC World are saying different. They're pricing it at €49.97 including VAT.

Just got the NetGear DG834, no G. It's wired. Works like a dream. Perfect for 360 aswell. Bit of fiddling, sorted a fixed IP. Would recommend.
