Cool Motorola absorbs Netopia

Hi y'all,

Just heard this today. Motorola has completed acquisition of Netopia, Inc.

If you check out Netopia - Welcome to Netopia, it's already been rebranded as a Motorola website.

Cheers,
Simon.

Oh dear.

I hope their quality control on the router software is a lot better than their quality control on their phone software, I've had 2 motorola mobiles in the last couple of years, and had to abandon them and move back to Nokia to get a working setup, there were so many problems with the software on the V3 and the V770.

Up till now, Netopia have been reasonable units, but from here on in. Worrying!
