Default Broadband behaving strangely

Hi all!

Here's a strange one.

My broadband keeps going down for no reason at all. Everytime i ring the tech support they are no help at all, only telling me things i've already tried but it always comes back online while i'm talking to them.

So this afternoon it's been down all day and so i ring them. Before i even speak to anyone it comes back on, so maybe i reckoned it was affected by me using the landline! Surely not!

Anyway i've tried it about 4 times since then and everytime use of the landline gets me online again!!! Bizarre!

Can anyone explain this??

Default filter

I also had some strange happenings , my phone ringing , no one on line. It turned out to be my filter. Try removing the filter for a while.

Excellent! That would figure cause i moved the the furniture round a week ago and dis/reconnected the line.

And it would have got me nowhere trying to explain it to the eircom support.

Thank god for forums!!!!

cheers,

Louise
