I replied to ms ****
Quote:
Dear Ms ****,
I am surprised at the reply i got from you did you read my email or is this an automated response ?
I never made any reference to eircoms customer service, My complaint is with Eircoms abuse of position and calling me on another account(work) regarding my smart account(home).
They should never have called me as doing so is at least a breach of data protection as the information used was never collected for this purpose.
.
There are a number of issues here
Does eircom have a database of smart customers
Did the other service providers have the same list
Who supplied the list
If Eircom were the only ones with the list this is unfair to the competition
Now that's just some of the issues
Now do you want me to do the rest of your job for you or are ye going to do the job you are placed there for.
I am sick of Comreg being a lapdog for Eircom.
Get up off your bums and do something with the sham of a communication system we have in this banana republic.
If you don't have the power to do anything lobby the minister for more powers so you can do your job efficiently.

I look forward to a proper response to this email with the news that you have done something about this farce.

Regards
USER
This is the reply i got

Mr USER,

Please be advised that ComReg do have limited powers in the market and we will do what we can to assist the consumer as best we can.

As she said herself
"Please be advised that ComReg do have limited powers in the market"

Please remember this when the bertie, enda and all the cronies from dail eireann come knocking at your door looking for a vote.
Wasters the lot of them.

This now imagine what it'll be like if Ryanair manage to get the grubby little paws on Aerlingus.
We won't even be able to escape........

your wasting your time talking to the toothless CONREG

you have to go direct to EU and have the government lamooned for the babboonery they let the the vital intrests of the country go down the swanny

Eircons not giving notice can have cost umteen jobs as companies could not do buisneess and cant change supplier overnight

and where is bertie baby when this mess breaks out

playing saintly over ex begging bowl eposodes in the financial ministers past

So far we got two Tiochocks in close running order that seem to have friends that like to top up thier funds when they got a crying game issue like strapped for cash

If anyone in the forums has connections with the papers, I recommend publishing every letter to and from ComReg. The people who actually vote in their masses don't read forums or online opinions (or even care about them); but DO read the papers.

Funny story..
I once had a Representitive pop up at my door (just before previous local elections actually), my question was fairly simple (back then BB was the princely price of near-on £40/~€60 pm):
"What do you intend to do in protecting my interests when it comes to the goverment-sanctioned monopoly organisations such as Eircom".
His answer?
"We'll get back to you". Wel after they got voted back in, several years so far and nobody's getting back to me....

The gov won't care until you make them care.

I had to edit the earlier posts because of threats from comreg because i posted the emails on boards.
She didn't want her name posted.
Can't say i blame her considering the daft answers i got from her.
I think i have a right to post them as they are replies to me and i am the intended recipient.
The daft buggers on boards ended up banning me because of it even though i asked the mods to remove her name from my prev posts.
Speaks volumes of the type of clowns that mod boards.
Although the fact i told one of the mods (damien.m) that he had verbal diarrhea and he was an idiot and halfwit for not reading the entire thread before posting didn't help.
Mind you the fact i was banned proved what i said 'bout him.
So if anyone thinking of publishing the replies please bear in mind that comreg are a litle sticky bout the stupid replies they give and having thier names published.
