Default How low - can you go?

Yes people - that is the question... how SLOW can a broadband connection go? Well to my dissatisfaction, I found out last night.

64kbps download is the all new record - I **** you not! I have spent all weekend since Friday up until early this evening at this dire not-much-faster-than-dialup speed. For once in my life, I saw uploading going faster than downloading!

Results from Irish ISP test:

Smart AoLynk DSL modem connections statistics (notice that awful attenuation reading on my line):

And the XP connection status:

Accrding to smart technical support, they're "perfectly normal" readings for my line. So if ye think IBB is bad....
