Smart Telecom Warning Just a word of warning. I signed up for the ST deal last february. In mid august, a rep for the company told me they were ready to provide broadband etc. They told me to instruct eircom to disable my ADSL account. I did this and rang smart saying that all was ready for them to provide broadband. OOOPS! was the reply from the rep who informed me that the service would not be available in my area until the new year!!!! I spent five weeks trying to get reconnected to eircom and finally am back on line this week. Couple all this with me having to change my phone number and transfer all my phone accounts, and I think I will not be signing with smart. |
