Default Monitoring traffic

Was thinking of purchasing a Linksys WRP400 and wondering if anybody knows of a way that the traffic usage can be measured. I was using freeware on the PC but this obviously will not pick up usage of the Phone and calls. I plan on attaching a phone to the ATA port of the WRP400 and would like to see total traffic of the combined phone and PC

If you can get a linux firmware / OS for the device you can easily monitor its bandwidth usage. I was doing it on my home DSL for a while and it worked perfectly

Were you using the Linksys WRP400? I do not understand how you can get one with a Linux OS/firmware. I would have thought that they use their own propriety firmware. I cannot find any feature which allows for monitoring traffic volumes.

As far as I know you can't install linux firmware on the WRP400. However it is possible on other Linksys routers such as the WRT54G.
