Here is some interesting info I picked up on an Aussie forum relating to the 120 rule for call credit on Voipbuster, Voipstunt etc.

To all those people who put 100 euro straight up on their VoipStunt or VoipBuster account.

When you signed up you agreed to the general terms and conditions which included this....

12.7 Applicable Law. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany without giving effect to the conflict of laws or provisions of Germany or Your actual state or country of residence. Germany

Well you might be thinking so what.......

In Feb 2006 there was a judgement from the German court "Landgericht München", that credit balances on pre-paid accounts cannot simply be deleted. If they wish to close the account the company must offer you the balance of your money back. The court "reference number" (Aktenzeichen) is 12 O 16098/05.

This decision had to do with O2 and old prepaid mobile phone accounts but it is thought it will apply to these accounts as well.

Whenever your time limit runs out it might be interesting to bang them off a mail quoting the above and see how you get on!!!

Oh the joy of it! I had a telemarketer ring me this evening trying to sell me Perlico Telecom...
I asked him if they would pay me to make telephone calls. He was a little puzzled and asked me why. I said that my current provider gives me free calls to landlines in 52 countries and at that very moment my wife had been on the phone to Sweden for 45mins at no cost. The only way I could see to improve the situation is for a telecom co. to pay me to use the phone. From the way he slapped down the phone I guess Perlico won't be the one to do it!
