I currently have a Linksys WRT54GS and it's very reliable. As far as I can remember it cost me about €70, but now you should be able to get for less than €50. Linksys is owned by Cisco, and their gear tends to be reliable and sturdy. I've had no problems with it in the 18 months that I've had it. As well as that the firmware on a lot of the Linksys routers can be upgraded with OpenWRT which gives you greater configuration options.
Saying that the model I have isn't upgradable, so keep an eye out for the Linksys WRT54G, and check out
OpenWrt for supported routers.
Previous to that I had two Belkin wireless routers, both of which failed on me. In fact both routers ended up as "bricks" after within the first 6 months of use.
Whatever you go, I'd reccomend staying away from Belkin. Connections can be flakey, the software is painful to use and not very intuitive, and they're not as upgradable as the Linksys equipment.
HTH,
Paul
