Default Wireless problem

Up until yesterday i was able to access the internet wirelessly from my bedroom. Last night and today, i get a wireless connection but no signal, no bars.
My bedroom is on the ground floor as is the router which is in the living room. There is about 7ft distance between where the router sits and where the laptop sits on my table in the bedroom. There is obviously a wall in between.
If i bring my laptop into the living room it automatically picks up a 5 bar strength.

My router is a Linksys WAG354G v2
My laptop is a Dell M1210 with built in Intel PROset Wireless adaptor

I have made no changes on my laptop and the physical things in the house has not changed.

Any ideas?

Have you tried restarting the linksys?

I know it sounds a bit silly, but restarting network equipment from time to time can solve a lot of silly issues

Have you tried the wireless network configuration thing in Windows?

On my windows desktop it sometimes "decides" to connect to the wrong access point, which can be a bit annoying
